The Government of Uttar Pradesh on July 25, 2026, issued the Uttar Pradesh Private Universities (Fourth Amendment) Ordinance, 2026 to further amend the Uttar Pradesh Private Universities Act, 2019.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In Schedule-2 of the Uttar Pradesh Private Universities Act, 2019, after serial no. 54, the following serial number and the entries relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:–
Sl. no. 55 Maharshi Mahesh Yogi International Agriculture University, Bilhaur, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh
Swami Brahmanand Saraswati Charitable Trust, Delhi
